We at Sitaragem believe that fine jewelry is an important symbol of the feelings couples have for one another and less about the money spent to enjoy it. We want to bring the love and emotion back to gift giving. That being said, the SitaraGem® was born in early 2004 because we perceived a need for a truly realistic diamond alternative – one that has the identical sparkle, brilliance and luxury of an expensive mined diamond while sparing the environment as well as the people where diamonds are commonly mined.

We studied the diamond making process to ensure our SitaraGem® went through the same rigorous testing to achieve a final product that was simply nothing less then diamond perfection.

Newly developed in state of the art laboratories, the SitaraGem® is created with a specialized formula comprised of zirconium oxide, rare minerals and other elements under extreme heat (over 5000 degrees Fahrenheit) to create a special mix that enhances the Sitaragem core for increased durability and lifetime luster.

The SitaraGem® is then hand-cut and polished to perfect diamond specifications by our master diamond cutters. Each SitaraGem® is fully faceted and possesses the same color, clarity and ideal-cut that gives them their incredible fire and brilliance of the highest quality diamonds in the world. Measuring an impressive 9.1 Mohs, with only a diamond measuring the maximum 10 Mohs, our stones are compared to Sapphire and Ruby in hardness.

The SitaraGem® was sent and displayed to Gemologists, Jewelers and EGL Canada. They all were very impressed and without magnification, could not distinguish our SitaraGem® from a mined-diamond.

Our goal was almost complete. Something so perfectly brilliant could only be set into an exquisite custom mounting to give it superior quality. We gathered the best materials from around the world and individually hand-crafted each mounting by our skilled artisans. The Final Result...Perfection!
